Tu munchen explores frankenwald

Everywhere in the frankenwald, former land use has left its mark. The evidence of historical forest management and the importance of forestry for the frankenwald today and tomorrow were the topics that led students of the technical university (tu) of munich on a field trip to the state forest of the rothenkirchen forestry operation.
Professor soren schobel from the chair of "landscape architecture of regional open spaces" designs concepts for the development of a landscape on the basis of existing, grown structures.
That is why he and his team were specifically looking for recognizable traces of economic history in northern bavaria.
In the forest areas of the frankenwald, it is above all the remains of former coal piles, old hollow roads and historic flora installations that still bear witness today to the rough economic importance of the forest. The travel group’s interest in the results of the "cultural heritage mapping of the frankenwald" was correspondingly great, with which the bavarian state forests, together with knowledgeable local conservationists, record and secure these old structures in the rothenkirchen forestry operation.

Results in concepts

During a guided tour in the state forest, forestry manager peter hagemann explained how the results obtained are integrated into the concept of current forest management. For example, the archived cultural assets are taken into consideration when using timber harvesting machines. The trail system that has evolved over the centuries is still used today, although modern rope technology has made it possible to do without a large part of the earlier access. This makes sustainable wood use possible while at the same time protecting the soil. In addition, attractive hiking trails and rough flats as refuge areas for endangered species have been preserved undisturbed.
The students and their teachers were able to experience this direct juxtaposition of all the important services provided by the forest with a view of the kodel dam. "Water and soil protection, sustainable raw material production, forest nature conservation and forest recreation take place here on the same flat", according to hagemann.
Numerous questions about the ongoing forest restructuring as a basis for securing these functions for future generations led to the topic "future of the frankenwald". A future, it was agreed, in which the forest will continue to play a key role.

Jungle camp 2018: matthias mangiapane – that’s why he chickened out before the test

Jungle camp 2018: matthias mangiapane - that's why he chickened out before the test

It's hard to believe, but in 2018 there are once again twelve self-promoters camping out in RTL's TV jungle. And that's not all: in season twelve of "i'm a star – get me out of here!" There are even two french representatives: tatjana gsell and matthias mangiapane.

And at least elective french mangiapane has already distinguished himself, even if not necessarily positively. Because the 34-year-old, from RTL appropriately the "10-star general" was, in a strangely choleric way, all too proud of his ten stars, which he almost won in a jungle competition, and all too angry with jenny frankhauser, who he thought had messed it up. No wonder RTL viewers voted him back into the jungle for day 3. And – no surprise – also for the fourth episode on monday evening.

Where traps lurk on the social web

In the course of the past few days, a total of 300 students from the 7 schools met in the morning. Year 1 students from eight different schools in the district visited the youth center to take part in the "stop and go" youth protection course in small groups to complete.
In this project, which is required by the federal ministry for family, women, seniors and youth, the young people dealt with the topics of youth protection laws, media, addiction and consumer behavior under the guidance of specialists. Police chief kevin ender, youth contact officer at the lichtenfels police station, provided information on important points of the law on the protection of minors. He pointed out, for example, that children and adolescents under 16 are not allowed to enter dance events, while those over 16 and under 18 are allowed to stay until midnight. At dance events organized by a recognized youth welfare organization, children are allowed to be present unaccompanied until 10 p.M. And adolescents until midnight. Then the young people had to answer the question about the consumption of alcoholic beverages in public by looking at empty beverage bottles. It became clear that spirits, likore, alcopops or food containing alcohol, such as brandy beans, are not allowed for young people under 18 years of age. Beer, wine and sparkling wine, on the other hand, are allowed to be drunk by young people over the age of 16. Kevin ender also gave a number of pointers and advice. So you should be careful about the content when you are offered pranks. For safety reasons, a group that has come to a session together should also go home together again. He also drew attention to the fact that a drunk teenager who has been picked up by the police several times can get into trouble with the driving license authorities if he wants to obtain a driving license.

Mail from the tattoo studio

Luisa gampert, who is currently doing an internship at the youth welfare office as part of her studies in social pedagogy, looked at the everyday media life (facebook, instagram, whatsapp, youtube, films, cell phones, TV) of young people. Using a video of a youtuber, she demonstrated what to watch out for on the web. The woman was in a tattoo studio and posted a photo while getting tattooed.
After a short time, a man stood in front of the studio who knew their personal data and wanted to talk to them. The moderator’s advice was therefore to exercise caution when giving out sensitive data.
With the help of statements on cards, which the participants read out, the correct behavior on the social web was discussed. You are not allowed to publish pictures of other people, insults or threats without permission. You should protect your data, not accept strangers as friends (fake profiles), not click on unknown links, never meet internet acquaintances alone, break off contact if you receive strange messages and talk to your parents, and above all, take active steps against bullying.
The "search" theme the chief criminal inspector matthias lange of the criminal police coburg together with students of the gymnasium burgkunstadt and the adam-riese-schule bad staffelstein treated.
Heribert lempetzeder and sabine wegner from the health department of the district office dealt with daily consumption and the associated handling of money, chewing, group pressure and status thinking and discussed them with the students. The two social pedagogues distributed four voting sheets, each with one question and three possible answers, to the students.
When asked whether the schoolchildren follow their friends’ outfits when buying clothes, surprisingly few of them answered in the affirmative. Most of them emphasized their own taste and style. A positive influence of the clothes on the self-confidence was seen only by three students, most of them even attested no strong self-confidence to the one who is only after well-known brands.
The majority also thought that the buying mood would increase with the good mood. You often buy things you don’t need.

The high-flyers have landed softly

The captains, who once were with their passengers and the "chartbreakers," criticized the band that flew to the promised rock'n'roll paradise on their CD of the same name still have their pilot's license. Only flying is no longer done. In contrast to the turn of the millennium, when everyone was talking about the trio founded in 1995 in the beer town, today the kulmbach punk airline bakes smaller bread.

Musicians mourn their weddings? "No", bassist thomas pannek admits without further ado, while singer and guitarist jens gnan nods at him. The two blacks of a sparing time, but one that also had its downsides. "In the end, many fans were only interested in having a wild party, and not in the music anymore. Even during quiet ballads there was a lot of pogo dancing", pannek remembers. At the time, he says, people were too concerned about what would appeal to the public and what wouldn't.

Fipronil scandal: experts for better crisis communication

Fipronil scandal: experts for better crisis communication

The federal office for consumer protection and food safety (bvl) and the federal institute for risk assessment (bfr) are not yet optimally complementing each other’s competencies, said jutta jaksche, food policy advisor at the federal association, to the german press agency. "The federal ministry of food and agriculture had to create the legal basis for a more effective cooperation between the two federal institutions."

The insecticide fipronil, which must not be used on food-producing animals, had been added to a cleaning product and sold to chicken farmers. It was absorbed by the animals and thus also found its way into eggs and chicken meat. Eggs contaminated with the insecticide were found in more and more countries after initial evidence in the netherlands. German companies were also affected. Some discounters temporarily removed all eggs from their assortment. The federal institute for risk assessment (bfr) considered a health hazard to be unlikely.

1.Here I can give a clear yes. I enjoy it immensely because it is a very multi-faceted and complex office. There are always new tasks coming up that I didn’t think I would get involved with at first. But it is fun to experience something new every day and also to see how the ideas are slowly being turned into reality.

No entry without a german passport?

No entry without a german passport?

Coburg- the coburg night run had over 1700 participants. Three african students were denied entry to the afterparty in the celebration room.
Sebastian drobner, who is studying in coburg, describes the situation on his blog: he wants to party with three student friends of african origin. But this does not happen, because his companion is not allowed to enter the party room by the bouncer. Reason: at the party only guests with german passport were wanted.
But the three africans standing on the sidelines are not even asked for identification documents. According to the doorman, the order comes from the boss: foreign partygoers have caused problems before. "Foreigners came in, but not those who "look" foreign, drobner describes the situation.
He and his friends then renounced the party. But you want to draw attention to the discrimination. This is not the first time he has been confronted with racism, says drobner. Foreign friends have often been turned away by bouncers: "often we can only conclude that there is pure racism behind a sentence like ‘not today’. But the bouncer explained to me that my friends couldn’t get in anyway because they didn’t have a german passport anyway. He has not even spoken to them yet."

Misconceptions

Stephan guzik, owner of the party room and organizer of the afterparty of the night run, is first willing to talk to our newspaper, but then cancels the appointment, asks for questions by e-mail. Then he sends the following statement: "an order that only people with german passport are allowed to enter is wrong." The party room has a security service that basically carries out the entrance checks in a professional manner and with a great deal of experience, and solves problems, explains guzik.
Both germans and guests of other origins are affected by access bans. In the past, there have been cases where guests have been refused admission due to alcohol consumption etc. A high propensity to violence or wore a wrong outfit, and therefore could not be admitted.
"Especially when many guests are standing in front of the door and want to get in, our security forces have to get an idea of the guests within a few seconds. If there are any misunderstandings, we apologize for any inconvenience."
